Problemi con MOUSE Usb - Rotellina

Se avete problemi con l'installazione e la configurazione di Slackware postate qui. Non usate questo forum per argomenti generali... per quelli usate Gnu/Linux in genere.

Regole del forum
1) Citare sempre la versione di Slackware usata, la versione del Kernel e magari anche la versione della libreria coinvolta. Questi dati aiutano le persone che possono rispondere.
2) Per evitare confusione prego inserire in questo forum solo topic che riguardano appunto Slackware, se l'argomento è generale usate il forum Gnu/Linux in genere.
3) Leggere attentamente le risposte ricevute.
4) Scrivere i messaggi con il colore di default, evitare altri colori.
5) Scrivere in Italiano o in Inglese, se possibile grammaticalmente corretto, evitate stili di scrittura poco chiari, quindi nessuna abbreviazione tipo telegramma o scrittura stile SMS o CHAT.

La non osservanza delle regole porta a provvedimenti di vari tipo da parte dello staff, in particolare la non osservanza della regola 5 porta alla cancellazione del post e alla segnalazione dell'utente. In caso di recidività l'utente rischia il ban temporaneo.

Guarda,mi pare proprio di averlo,anche perché qualche giorno fa c'ho pasticciato e mi diceva proprio in avvio che quella stringa con imps2 non andava bene,e quindo ho dovuto smadonnare per risistemarla (mouseconfig comunque..),perché non riuscito ad entrare in modalità console (era avvio automatico in grafico).

Comunque ho guardato il gpm ed è attivato perché fuori da X il topo ce l'ho.
Ho provato a mettere /dev/psaux al posto di /dev/mouse ma niente.

Quando metto IMPS/2 il topo schizza. Tutto il resto sembra funzionare

Nel tuo caso il mouse è USB per cui è corretto il fatto che psaux non stia puntando a /dev/misc/psaux.

A quanto ne so io, per i mouse USB con la rotellina bisogna utilizzare questi parametri in xorg.conf:

Per le opzioni di xorg.conf associate ad un valore booleano (vero/falso) si ha:

true = on = yes = 1
Quindi, puoi usare un qualsiasi valore equivalente.

Emulate3Buttons va scritto tutto attaccato.

E come previsto era una cavolata!

Non mi tornava qualcosa,e sono andato di nuovo a fare mouseconfig.
Ho messo mouse usb,e vedevo che si piantava tutto (il topo intendo).
Ho detto:"beh,già qualcosa".
Quindi il problema è proprio l'usb.

Mi viene in mente che non c'è più quella mezz'ora all'avvio dell'hotplug e parto alla ricerca disperata dell'hotplug.
Dopo un po' guardo guida slackware,guardo dove sta hotplug -> pkgtool -> config slackware,attiva hotplug all'avvio et voilà :)

IMPS/2 adesso mi vuole bene e la mia rotellina viaggia arrogante anche in modalità testuale.

Era proprio una stronzata!
...mi chiedo come mai sto giro non era attivato l'hotplug,mi pare stranissima la cosa :/
Mi pareva di averlo messo :(
