E' colpa di Ubuntu e del suo antialias sui font.
Sto cercando maledettamente di avere lo stesso
aspetto dei fonts di Ubuntu sulla mia slack.
Ho seguito la guida di dugan e del suo
articolo Optimizing Slackware Linux's Fonts
ricompilando freetype, fontconfig, libXft e cairo
coi suoi SlackBuilds e giocando con conf.avail e conf.d.
Sicuramente qualcosa cambia ma non è del tutto
uguale a quello che dugan mostra nei suoi sshot.
Dopo svariati tentativi, mi prese la follia: andai
nel pc di mio fratello e misi in pendrive la directory
/etc/fonts/ del suo Ubuntu e la copiai sulla mia Slack.
Risultato? Funziona! Si vede come speravo!
L'unico problema è che mi sembra una gran porcheria
il passaggio dei file in questa maniera. Vorrei ripulire
il tutto e avere lo stesso risultato senza usare file esterni
alla mia slack.
Ho notato che nel conf.d di Ubuntu ci sono i file che
riguardano gli antialias (quelli che cominciano con "10")
che alla compilazione di freetype su slack non vengono
creati. Di seguito vi mostro il contenuto di conf.aval e

PS: vorrei precisare che dalle Impostazioni di sistema -> Caratteri,
ho applicato su "Utilizza l'anti-aliasing per i caratteri" la voce "Impostazione di sistema".
Ho quindi eliminato ~/.fonts.config così è sicuro (spero) che prenda le impostazioni
dei font solamente da /etc/fonts/.
