Come posso far funzionare l'uscita tv svideo?
Riepilogo ciò che ho fatto.

Ho installato gli ultimi driver ati correttamente, ho eseguito
aticonfig -initial (fgrlxconfig non è più presente) che ha modificato il mio xorg.conf con successo,
infatti ho l'accelerazione 3d. Mi sorge un dubbio, avrei dovuto usare

l'opzione aticonfig -initial=dual-head per poter utilizzare l'uscita tv
classica (svideo)? Altrimenti come potrei specificare la risoluzione
minore di un tv esterno rispetto al monitor primario?

In sostanza come fate a vedere i film in dvd/dvx eccetera tramite l'uscita tv su un comune televisore?

Grazie, ma avevi anche una scheda nvidia da quel che vedo sul tuo file.

In ogni modo vi posto il mio semplicissimo xorg ottenuto da una aticonfi -initial=dual-head e leggermente modificato. Funziona senza abilitare le voci tv pal-D etc etc.

no, non avevo una nvidia, e non so da cosa lo deduci, comunque hai provato ad usare il conf che ti ho pastato e vedere se funziona?

Queste opzioni mi sembrano per schede nvidia

Il # all'inizio indica che sono commentate.

Sarebbe veramente difficile avere 2 schede AGP o una PciEx e l'altra AGP.

Ovvio infatti è per questo che gli ho chiesto se in precedenza aveva una scheda nvidia
