hola ragazzi,
<BR>ho lanciato oggi un bel swaret --upgrade e tra le varie cose ho aggiornato Xorg, solo che ora non mi parte piu´ gdm... non so se puo´ dipendere da xorg o meno! comunque quando lancio gdm, x parte ma il cursore rimane con la clessidra, e non viene caricato ne il backgroup ne i vari campi per inserire user e pass...

<BR>ho appena controllato il ramo current della Slack 10.0 dal sito ufficiale...la nuova versione di xorg non è nemmeno nel ramo testing...io penso che ci sia una ragione per questo...oppure pat si è perso l´uscita di questa release?
<BR>BTW, è mia buona abitudine attendere che gli updates importanti (kde, xorg, etc) vengano inseriti nel ramo current prima di effettuarli e non ho mai avuto problemi di alcun tipo! Have a nice day

<BR>hai ragione, ma ero troppo impaziente di vedere l´ombra nelle finestre

<BR>comunque ora e´ tutto ok, a parte che ombra e trasparenze varie creano dei comportamnti strani, per lo meno con gnome (ad esempio non mi usciva piu´ dal menu azioni)

<BR>il problema di gdm era dovuto all´aggiornamento della libcroc, la nuova versione sembra che non gli piaccia tanto...
