quando provo a compilare speech_tools mi da questo errore:

...no riesco a risolvere il problema...help please

Ma non riesci a compilarlo sulla current? Perchè per la 11.0 compila benissimo, c'è SlackBuild e pachetto su Slacky!

si sulla current, ho scaricato il pacchetto source da slacky, non so se scaricando il pacchetto .tgz e installandolo va tutto a buon fine

Non avendo la current, non posso provare a compilare, ma credo che il precompilato funzioni correttamente anche sulla current!

come faccio a vedere se l'installazione va a buon fine? cioè magari installa il pacchetto però sono presenti ancora problemi...

L'unica, che io sappia, è installare Festival e relative voci e provare se funzionano correttamente, Ho visto comunque che usa Perl, quindi probabilmente ci saranno problemi con la current!

ora ho provato ad installare festival e speech_tools con slapt-get, ho anche scaricato il file Italian-festival che contiene le voci, mi dice di di estrarle nella directory di festival (infatti contiene alcune librerie che andrebbero in festival), ma dov'è la directory? in /usr/docs c'è la directory festival ma all'interno non c'è la directory lib

allora ho installato festival lo eseguo e do il comando SayText "Hello" ma non dice na mazza...è possibile verificare se festival ha alcuni problemi?

Le voci sono pacchetti TGZ già pronti, da installare con installpkg!

io sto seguendo questa guida:

e mi blocco quando dice di provare con SayText "Hello" perchè a me non dice niente

Installa i pacchetti festival, mbrola, speech_tools e le voci, le voci mbrola sono ad alta qualità! Con il classico installpkg!

Poi da shell

lanci festival

Quando selezioni la voce usa tab per avere l'espansione delle voci disponibili!
