Installare VMWare server su Slackware 12

In rete ho trovato pochino sull'argomento in questo forum è presente il mio stesso problema, ma non hanno postato la soluzione...
Comunque, quando lancio il comando vmware-config ottengo:
Uso il kernel 2.6.21.5-smp anche se ho un monoprocessore.
Qualche suggerimento?
