problema cavo usb per collegare 2 pc

Se avete problemi con l'installazione e la configurazione di Slackware postate qui. Non usate questo forum per argomenti generali... per quelli usate Gnu/Linux in genere.

con windows va perfettamente ,ma con linux non ne ho la piu pallida idea su come farlo funzionare

ditemi che c'è una possibilità di farlo funzionare su linux :(
ps:su un pc c'è slackware ,e nell'altro invece windows 98

non so se puo servire ma da quanto mi è stato detto dal rivenditore
il cavo ha due funzioni
1:diventa un dispositivo con all' interno il software per scambiare dati
2: una scheda di rete esterna

ma non potevi prendere un cavo ethernet e una scheda di rete? sicuramente risparmiavi e poi vuoi mettere l'ethernet con l'USB? Non ho mai capito perchè fanno tutto USB, è lentissimo e instabile.
