Sono un giornalista austriaco e vivo in Francia... and my Italian is really too poor: is it a problem if I post in english? Tell me!

I'm a diehard Slackware user (sono un fanatico di Slackware ) since 2001, 100% GNU/Linux since then, and I can make pretty much anything on my Slack that a OS X or an XP user can do. It's about the only really perfect Linux distribution (I tried them all: Debian, Mandrake, Suse, Ubuntu, Gentoo, Aurox, Fedora... they all ended up in my trashcan ).

Anyway, more often than not, Google search shows me some relevant pages on slacky.it.. well, I studied Italian for two years back in 1976 when I was a little ragazzo, ten years old, so I _understand_ most of what's being written here, only I can only write back in english.

I just installed the french version of openoffice.org-2.0, and the folks on alt.os.linux.slackware tell me that slacky.it has an installer script for handling the according KDE menus... where is it?

It's not a problem if you post in english.
I don't use KDE nor OpenOffice-2.0, so what I say is not the Holy Bible. Maybe this link can be usefull http://www.slacky.it/index.php?option=c ... unc=search. There you can find the script for (un)installing the beta italian version, whose author is DaNiMoTh, I think you can send him a private message for a precise explanation.

But, in this repository, are available a precompiled ( già pronto ) package.

I`m not sure that the script (funziona) with the rcX version of OOo.

If you want, try it and send me the (aventual) bugs.
