Buongiorno a tutti!
Sto cercando del pacchetto libpng-1.2.12-i486-1as.tgz.
Ho trovato: http://www.slacky.it/download/libraries ... 86-1as.tgz su https://sourceforge.net/project/showfil ... _id=177157 ma... error 404. Dove e' il questo pacchetto?

Well, I don't speak Italian so good and maybe it will be better if i try to write this in english. I'm going to compile xorg 7.1 (https://sourceforge.net/project/showfil ... _id=177157). In the howto I found this address: http://www.slacky.it/download/libraries ... 86-1as.tgz , but I get error 404. Where could I find that package then? I really need this one (it's written in howto why, xorg slackware package from this script won't be built with libpng from official slackware mirror). So, where is it? Or maybe it isn't needed by pinki2's script any longer (But I think it is!)?

I don't know if it's good for you, but

patches/packages/libpng-1.2.14-i486-1_slack11.0.tgz:
Upgraded to libpng-1.2.14. This fixes a bug where a specially crafted PNG
file could crash applications that use libpng.

I don't know, but with Slackware 11.0 there is no problem with libpng. Maybe this Howto was written on Slackware 10.2.

Well, I had installed the libpng-1.2.14 from patches and xorg compiled succesfully. But, I have a problem with fc-cache now. I don't want to write a new post so...
When I type fc-config I get

Codice: Seleziona tutto

/usr/X11R7/lib/X11/fonts/TTF: failed to write cache
/usr/X11R7/lib/X11/fonts/Type1: failed to write cache
/usr/X11R7/lib/X11/fonts: failed to write cache
/usr/X11R7/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi: failed to write cache
/usr/X11R7/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi: failed to write cache
/usr/X11R7/lib/X11/fonts/OTF: failed to write cache
/usr/X11R7/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo: failed to write cache
/usr/X11R7/lib/X11/fonts/cyrillic: failed to write cache
/usr/X11R7/lib/X11/fonts/encodings: failed to write cache
/usr/X11R7/lib/X11/fonts/encodings/large: failed to write cache
/usr/X11R7/lib/X11/fonts/local: failed to write cache
/usr/X11R7/lib/X11/fonts/misc: failed to write cache
/usr/X11R7/lib/X11/fonts/util: failed to write cache
I have read about linking libfontconfig and libfontenc into /usr/X11/lib, but these libraries are there! What should I do now?
