acer 5920 alsa configuration

Regole del forum

La non osservanza delle regole porta a provvedimenti di vari tipo da parte dello staff, in particolare la non osservanza della regola 5 porta alla cancellazione del post e alla segnalazione dell'utente. In caso di recidività l'utente rischia il ban temporaneo.

acer 5920 alsa configuration

hello, can someone post working alsa configuration files for acer 5920g (intel-hda integrated sound card) because i have a problem with getting it to work perfectly. sound works but not ideally.

hi, does intel-hda work without problems for you? try plugging in headphones. i updated my alsa to mercurial (cvs version) and added crucial option "options snd-hda-intel model=acer-aspire" to /etc/modprobe.d/sound and now my sound card works flawlessly. i won't need these files, but thank you anyway.

btw nice tutorial about aspire 5920 in slackware on wiki, too bad in italian only ;)

my card works great, except for the headphones: when i attach them the speakers doesn't mute. for me this isn't a problem...so i don't care about this.

thanks! it's in italian because this is an italian community :) maybe when i will write it for slack 12 i will write an english version too
