[Risolto] Xorg e porta 6000

È da ieri che provo a lanciare il server X per farlo ascoltare sulla porta 6000 senza successo; so che questa dovrebbe essere l'impostazione di default, ma sulla mia slack 13.1 sembra non funzionare.
In rete ho trovato una marea di how-to, ma tutti spiegano solo come disabilitare il listening.

Per avviare la sessione grafica parto in init 3, faccio il login ed eseguo "startx" (non uso kdm/gdm/xdm).
Se vi serve altro chiedete pure.

In che senso non funziona? Se fai netstat riesci a vedere che il server è in ascolto? Per connetterti non basta che sia in ascolto, devi anche avere i permessi giusti!

In effetti nell'output c'è l'opzione "-nolisten tcp":

Ma non capisco da dove arrivi quell'opzione .

Dipende da cosa usi per far partire il server X. Se sei in init3 ed usi startx guarda il suo man per capire come esegue il server X. Ma molto probabilmente sei in init4 ed hai un desktop manager, allora devi vedere come si comporta il tuo desktop manager.

Per avviare X uso "startx" e dentro startx non ci sono riferimenti diretti a "-nolisten tcp" (adesso dovrei spulciare ogni file incluso nello scrpit "startx").
Come desktop manager uso xfce.

Per curiosità ho provato ad eseguire lo script startx e il server si è messo in ascolto della porta 6000. Io uso un alias apposta per evitare l'apertura della porta:

Prova ad eseguire direttamente xinit invece di passare per startx. Questo non dovrebbe cambiare nulla (nel senso che ti parte normalmente xfce e tutto il resto) ma la porta 6000 dovrebbe essere aperta. Se così fosse possiamo incolpare lo script startx.
